Hi, I'm Jenny Abshire (formerly Krause), a graphic designer with more than 13 years of experience creating engaging visual communications across print and digital platforms. I live in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina with my husband, son, two dogs, and cat. When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me spending time with family, exploring creative projects or enjoying the beach!
My current role is a Visual Graphic Designer III supporting the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs through Manhattan Strategy Group. In this role, I create accessible, 508-compliant design solutions including reports, infographics, presentations, fact sheets, program guides, branding materials and social media graphics that help organizations communicate clearly and effectively.
Prior to my current role, I worked as a Graphic Designer for Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions, where I developed proposal graphics, technical illustrations and visual assets supporting business development efforts. Earlier in my career, I worked at Access Intelligence, designing marketing collateral for conferences, events and award programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams on a variety of creative initiatives.
I graduated magna cum laude from Towson University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Family Studies. My background also includes freelance design work, photography, branding and illustration. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
